First annual autism
awareness family fun day
ashland,
ky, april 6,
2010: The
I Believe Foundation will host its first annual Autism Awareness Family Fun
Day on Saturday, April 17, 2010.
The event will take place from 11am to 3 pm in the old Steve &
Barry’s location at the KYOVA Tri-State Mall.
The purpose is to spread awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorders
and provide a fun family outing for families affected by Autism & the
general public. There will be
information available from autism providers & advocacy groups, items for
sale, carnival activities, inflatables, giveaways, etc....
There is no admission fee; however donations for the I Believe
Foundation will be accepted.
About The I Believe Foundation
I
Believe was established in 2004, by Occupational Therapists who became aware
of the many limitations placed on special-needs children and their families.
Various activities held throughout the year are dedicated to creating
a fun, learning and therapeutic environment for disabled children to
enjoy...challenging disabilities and creating new abilities.
